It’s all about the laughs, eccentric nail designs —oh, and if anything above all — The Drama! It’s a must watch show.
From lesbian sabotage to a sugardaddy/sugarbaby relationship (and that’s just side fodder, not even the main storyline), “Claws” keeps you glued to the television screen as continual unexpected, overdramatized scenarios unfold in every episode.
The twist and turn plot is about a money laundering scheme that involves a pill mill and a nail salon owned by Nash’s character who is dying to get out of the illegal business to focus on running a potentially new upscale nail salon in a better neighborhood and caring for her autistic brother.
But things take a turn for the worst as she kills her love interest in the show who just so happens to be the hands of the illicit scheme and the beloved nephew of the psycho bisexual uncle of the whole operation. As if things couldn’t get any messier, of course, they do.
Thankfully, Nash’s character has her loyal nail tech girls to help her get through all the chaos with her lesbian pal being the most protective of her. But with issues of their own, even their loyalty to one another is tested from time to time where bonds are cracked but manage never to be severed, as of yet.
Season one left off with the psycho kingpin losing his empire, Nash’s character forced to turn down her new salon venture, her autistic brother forming a love connection with her frienemy, her lesbian friend sabotaging her first true love interest in order to protect her friend, and if that’s not enough, Nash’s character’s love interest who she thought she killed comes back into the picture.
Drama, Drama, Drama! We guarantee you’ll love it.
