The revival season that aired in 2017 after an eleven-year hiatus was a smash. Viewers just couldn’t get enough of the dynamic four characters (Will, Grace, Jack & Karen) that cracked people up the first go around.
The show was so well received in its revamped 1st season that the NBC network picked it up for two more seasons before the comeback season ended. And now the time has come for the 2nd season of the revamped hit show.
The 1st revamped season theme was “the more things change, the more they stay the same” but the 2nd season is promising to stir the pot with new hilarious and shocking ventures from each character on the show.
We’ll pickup with Jack as he follows through with his engagement to his new boo, exactly where they left off in season one. Plus, we get to see Karen’s life unfold as the consequences of her affair hit home.
And Will & Grace? Well, Will is teaching now as a middle-aged professor obsessed with his freshly grown out “dyed” beard. And Grace has jumped into politics with a supposed new boo.
Who would have thought, Grace in politics, Karen on the verge of divorce, Jack getting married and Will changing careers, still single and obsessed with his looks — well that’s nothing new, same old Will yet with a whole new direction in life.
The comedic new season is also said to have a handful of celebrity cameos like that of Matt Bomer, Jon Cryer, Chelsea Handler, David Schwimmer, and Alec Baldwin who plays Karen’s lover.
So get ready because it’s going to be a star-studded show that’s guaranteed to be a ball of laughs if it’s anything like seasons past. Tune in on NBC, Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 9:00 pm, 8:00 pm central.
