Cannabis Degenerate commonly refer to on the street as Gay Marijuana is gaining in popularity due to the coupling of marriage equality and the legalization of marijuana spreading throughout the United States.
You just can’t make this stuff up. Well, actually you can because this satire news story is just way too absurd to believe for one moment that it’s factual.
In fact, the made-up news story is meant to give viewers quite a chuckle at the absurd notion of Gay Marijuana. The comedic trio, The Kloons, is known for this type of cutting-edge comedy. And this fabricated news story is a sample of their comedy genius.
The three funny guys, Mitch Lewis, Greg Washburn, and Nik Kazoura, who make up The Kloons posted the satire video to their Facebook page The Klooniverse on Monday, August 20, 2018. And by end of day Wednesday, August 22, 2018, the video already had over one million views.
In the fake news video, a reporter dives into the trend of Gay Marijuana by having her fellow colleague report from the streets of New York. It all gets even more absurdly funny from there. For example, in areas where Gay Marijuana became popular, crime dropped considerably while appreciation for live theatre, bean bags, pop tarts, sun chips and Xbox controllers reached new highs — what, lol! Is that what they think we enjoy?
Then fictious “locals give new meaning to ‘smoking a fag.'” One says he “just wants to shotgun Gay Marijuana out of his buddy’s a**hole.” Even straight couples are advocating for Gay Marijuana. It’s all fun and games until a naysayer is interviewed. But according to doctors who are studying both straight and gay marijuana, “technically all marijuana is gay.” You’ll have to watch the video to learn why.
Lewis, Washburn, and Kazoura have been at this since their college days when they decided to pick up a camera and record their silly ideas, which eventually transformed into a successful youtube channel. The witty trio has been featured on the Ellen Show twice according to their Facebook page. But what really makes their story great is their supposed pure intentions just to entertain themselves with a successful byproduct — the ability to make others laugh.
