1.The Canary Islands

The islands across the Spanish archipelago are known for having a liberal attitude to sexuality, meaning you’ll be able to enjoy the LGBT beaches, bars and nightclubs without any hassle.
The annual Maspalomas Gay Pride event in Gran Canaria, which attracts up to 100,000 attendees, includes a mammoth 10-day celebration that consists of LGBT parades, pool parties and organized.
Berlin is a city steeped in rich history and artistic culture. However, it is also known as Germany’s dynamic gay capital.

In Spain’s Catalonia region, just southwest of Barcelona, you’ll find the coastal town of Sitges.
The relaxed Mediterranean beaches are arguably the most famous asset of this tiny Catalan town.
However, don’t let the size fool you because this beach resort comes alive during the night with an LGBT nightlife scene that rivals some of its big city neighbours.
Popular events to be enjoyed in Sitges include the annual Gay Pride Sitges, which includes a custom-built miniature village bursting with places to eat, drink and party all in front of the glowing Spanish sunset.
The Greek island of Mykonos is considered as one of the ‘big four’ European LGBT summer destinations, and for decades, it has been a mecca for those who seek relaxing hotels, beaches and thriving LGBT nightlife.
The XLSIOR summer festival, which takes place on the island each year, is described by organisers as a place where people from all over the world can be connected by love and the universal language of music.
It hosts some of the most popular artists on the LGBT circuit, and many of the events can be enjoyed in the beautiful outdoor venues Mykonos has to offer.
Many refer to the Golden State city as the gay capital of the world due to its historical significance in LGBT rights and activism, which is celebrated in places such as the Castro District – one of the very first gay neighbourhoods in the USA.
The must visit San Francisco Pride Parade & Celebration, which takes place between June 23 and 24 this year, is described by organisers as an event that aims to ‘educate the world, commemorate our heritage, celebrate our culture, and liberate our people’.
Thanks to the celebration of LGBT culture within this Spanish city, Barcelona has become known as the gay capital of southern Europe.
As well as pumping LGBT nightlife, the city also plays host to the annual Barcelona Pride, which is described as the main gay pride celebration of the Mediterranean.
With over 200,000 attendees, this gay pride event acts as both a parade and protest, meaning you can both dance the night away and engage in supporting the rights of the LGBT community.
Canada’s largest gay community can be found in the vibrant city of Toronto.
The city’s diverse downtown gay village, known locally as ‘The Village’, offers visitors an array of arts, culture and nightspots.
Like other major cities, Toronto’s most prominent LGBT event takes place during the annual pride celebration, and the month of June, known as Pride month, is estimated to attract around 1.2 million visitors each year.
With luxury accommodation, unmatched nightlife and tranquil beaches, it’s no mystery as to why so many flock to this slice of mediterranean paradise every summer.
Many popular Ibiza super-clubs host a range of exciting LGBT events and parties throughout the year, and Ibiza Gay Pride, the island’s biggest LGBT date on the calendar, includes huge concerts, festivals and a Pride march known as the ‘Grand Parade’.
10.Rio de Janeiro
Famous for its epic Carnivals, Rio is unsurprisingly the perfect partying destination for just about anyone, and the overwhelmingly beautiful city views and beaches act as the perfect setting for LGBT festivities.
The Rio de Janeiro Brazil Gay Pride Parade, which includes events such as beach parties and LGBT-specific concerts, sees hundreds of thousands flock to the famous Copacabana beach to celebrate the Brazilian LGBT community.
