Primary Kid, Inc. is bringing kids clothing back to the basics.
The simplistic style children’s clothing company is doing away with logos, slogans, and sequins while offering “every color for every kid.”
In their options of child wear, you won’t find branded clothes or gender-specific colors. In fact, the online children’s clothing retail website’s drop-down menu doesn’t even include gender-specific pronouns describing their categories of clothing options.
There’s absolutely no mention of boys clothes or girls clothes anywhere on the website. The two main drop-down categories are listed as “baby 0-24m [months]” and “kids 2-12y [years old].” And each subcategory within the drop-down categories reference just the type of clothing with, again, no gender association.
Leggings are just leggings, not girl leggings. Shorts are just shorts, not boy shorts or girl shorts. Dresses are just dresses, not girl dresses and so on and so forth. And when it comes to colors, pick the color your child likes to wear regardless of gender.
It’s all intended to take away the complication of kids clothing and open the door to a much simpler and gender-neutral way of clothing your child.
Instead of offering limitless variations, we focus on offering “the one” of everything that a kid wears – from the one t-shirt to the one cardigan to the one polo.
The New York based company was founded by to former corporate executive mothers who just wanted to provide a hassle-free way for parents to shop for their children’s clothing. But yet still provide a quality look, feel, and design with vibrant colors and appealing styles.
This focus allows us to offer the best price and also an easy shopping experience for busy parents. Our stylish basics are offered in vibrant colors that mix and match beautifully, and will work with whatever else is in your closet.
